Single minded, Unwavering

Weekly Nuggets September 2, 2019

Matthew 28:16-17 NKJV

Then the eleven disciples went away into Galilee, to the mountain which Jesus had appointed for them. When they saw Him, they worshiped Him; but some doubted.

Key Phrase: Single minded, Unwavering

Where are we today? Are we at the place appointed by the Lord for this season? Are we waiting and trusting that He will show up with a promise?

There are times and seasons of life, each in the hands of God. None the same, each with a specific instruction, and a specific blessing. Each requiring fresh faith and trust in the one who leads, fresh faith because today is a new day, with a new promise and new challenges. God says in Isaiah 19:10 “Behold, I will do a new thing, Now it shall spring forth; Shall you not know it?

This is what the Lord does daily, fresh starts, new doors, new opportunities. He will send us to the wilderness to prove He can make new roads and rivers regardless of circumstances. He will ask us to move, sometimes to a difficult place to prove His point and at such times we will need fresh faith, bold faith, because yesterday’s faith will not be sufficient.

In this weeks text, eleven went to meet the Lord at the appointed place, a mountain. Although not an easy location, eleven expectantly climbed to meet with the Lord and worship. BUT not all eleven received a fresh blessing because some doubted.

I pray that when He instructs, we will not only move to the appointed place but we will also meet with Him, worship Him & receive a fresh revelation by faith.

Father, Give us ears that hear so we can know where and when to meet you. Lord, give us a heart of worship so when we meet you, your glory will overshadow any heaviness in our hearts. Mostly Lord, James 1:6-7 encourages us to ask in faith, not doubting, and so I ask for all of us reading this nugget today, that our faith will be unwavering, give us fresh faith to meet you and receive fresh revelation for this season. In Jesus mighty name.
